Mocha Brownie Protein Bars Made with Cold Brew Coffee

Mocha Brownie Protein Bars are great as a healthy meal supplement, meal replacement, and mental picker upper if you’re an active person on the go.

Especially if you’re working out at the gym or just need something to hold your appetite during a busy day, this protein bar will do double duty with cold brew coffee which contains healthy oils, antioxidants, and caffeine that will keep you alert. This recipe features our Code Blue Artisan Coffee brewed cold in our Madesco filters. You can brew your coffee cold for as long as needed to increase or decrease the caffeine flavor.

Mocha Brownie Protein Bars Recipe

Mocha Brownie Protein Bars

Ingredients:

  • 3 scoops vanilla protein
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats (gluten-free if necessary)
  • 1/4 cup trail mix
  • 2 Tbsp. Truvía® natural sweetener (or other sweetener, to taste)
  • 1 cup Madesco cold brew coffee

Directions:

  1. Line a 9×5” loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the protein powder, cocoa powder, oats, trail mix and Truvia. Mix in the cold coffee until fully incorporated. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan, and evenly press it down with a spatula.

Chill for at least 2 hours or until firm before slicing into bars. For firmer bars serve frozen.

Bars will last up to 2 days when sealed and chilled in your refrigerator.
